TRAILER TRAINING
If you passed your car driving test on or after 1st January 1997, you may now need to pass a separate test (licence category B+E) to tow a trailer or caravan weighing over 750kg MAM, and where the MAM of the combination of towing vehicles in category B and trailer exceeds 3500kg. MAM is the maximum authorised mass (weight) also known as the gross vehicle weight. It is the weight of the trailer plus the weight of the maximum permitted load. We offer B+E training for the DSA B+E trailer towing test. with a DSA ADI / LGV Registered Instructor.

Whether you need need to attain the B+E category on your license, or you need to refresh your towing skills, or you just fancy 'having a go', the Assessment Lesson is the place to start. You will be assessed on existing skills, if you've towed previously, or your aptitude if you are a novice. A training plan can then be tailored to your personal requirements and weaknesses.
Towed a trailer before but not feeling very confident or just a bit rusty? Refresher lessons are just what you need. Tailored to suit your requirements and weaknesses. Can be taken using your own vehicle and trailer, or using our tow car and trailer.
